Tottenham’s comeback stuns City in a six-goal thriller

Date:

Manchester City was left shell-shocked by a spirited Tottenham side that snatched a dramatic 3-3 draw at the Etihad with a last-gasp header from Dejan Kulusevski on Sunday.

Despite being ravaged by injuries, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou stuck to his guns and unleashed a barrage of attacking football against the mighty City, and was rewarded with a precious point.

Spurs captain Son Heung-min had a roller-coaster start, scoring an own goal and then equalising within the first 10 minutes.

Phil Foden edged City ahead before the break, but Giovani Lo Celso levelled the score with a stunning strike in the 70th minute.

Jack Grealish thought he had won it for the hosts with a cool finish, but Kulusevski had other ideas and nodded home a cross from Harry Winks in the 90th minute to send the away fans into ecstasy.

The result means City slip to third in the table, three points behind leaders Arsenal, while Tottenham climb to fifth and end their losing streak.
