In a fiery interview on Channels TV, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, slammed the former President Muhammadu Buhari for his disastrous policies that have left Nigerians in misery.
Oshiomhole, who was once the governor of Edo State, said that President Tinubu should not be blamed for the failures of the previous administration. Oshiomhole praised Tinubu for his patriotism and vision for the country.
“I am loyal to Nigeria first. I was appalled by the cruel policies of the former president, who betrayed his promises to the people. I spoke out against those policies and I was not alone.
“Many governors challenged those policies in court. We are still suffering from the aftermath of those policies today.
“I belong to the same party as Tinubu, but he was not part of that government. He did not take any position or contract from them. He is not accountable for their mistakes,” he said.
