Asisat Oshoala unleashes fury on Tunde Ednut for cyberbullying Alex Iwobi

Date:

Nigerian female football star, Asisat Oshoala, has taken a bold stand against cyberbullying and defended her fellow player, Alex Iwobi, who has been subjected to online abuse following Nigeria’s loss to Ivory Coast in the AFCON 2023 final.

Oshoala, who plays for Arsenal Women, did not mince words as she blasted one of Nigeria’s most influential social media personalities, Tunde Ednut, for his derogatory remarks towards Iwobi.

Ednut, a former musician turned blogger, had posted a picture of Iwobi on his Instagram page with the caption, “Iwobi is out, Thank you Lord…”, implying that he was happy that Iwobi was no longer playing for the Super Eagles.

This did not sit well with Oshoala, who took to her own Instagram stories to call out Ednut for his insensitive and disrespectful behavior.

She wrote:

“Tunde is an cochole !!! Boys give am money to do giveaway, he dey form god. Old fool…who d fust do you think you are? Ode buruku. You failed in your field n gave up but have the gut to call out someone who keeps trying n obviously doing way better than you. U for continue if na so e easy na.
