The American fighter was on a 12-fight winning streak, including six in the UFC, before he tore his Achilles tendon in training. Hill captured the light heavyweight crown in January 2023, when he outclassed Glover Teixeira in a dominant unanimous decision. Hill is known for his slick boxing, powerful punches, and relentless pressure, which have earned him the moniker “Sweet Dreams”.
The clash between Pereira and Hill is expected to be a thrilling stand-up war, as both fighters are confident in their striking abilities and rarely back down from a challenge.
