Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has expressed her dismay at the deteriorating economic situation in the country.
She moaned that the economic squeeze is biting so hard that even the rich are crying. She especially deplored the soaring price of rice. The star, who seemed to be considering fleeing from Nigeria, asked fans to help her decide which country she should escape to.
On her Instagram page, she wrote: “Everyday it’s getting worse.
“Even the rich dey cry. Na there I con dey wonder say wetin wan happen like this…
“It’s not funny again ooo!! Bag of rice sold for 90k ke. Please which country can I escape to?”
