King Charles Commends Kate’s Bravery Following Cancer Diagnosis”

Date:

Buckingham Palace has expressed King Charles III’s immense pride in Princess of Wales, Princess Catherine for her bravery in discussing her cancer treatment.

The King, who is also battling cancer, remains in close contact with his cherished daughter-in-law, according to a brief statement.

The princess, who revealed her diagnosis as a “massive shock” in a video shared on Friday, has received an outpouring of support. She has been receiving preventative chemotherapy since the end of February.

Catherine described the past few months as extremely challenging for her family but confirmed she is recovering and growing stronger each day.

Her announcement comes six weeks after King Charles temporarily withdrew from public duties due to his own cancer diagnosis.

Both were briefly treated simultaneously at the London Clinic private hospital. Princess Catherine underwent scheduled abdominal surgery there in January, while the King was admitted for a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate.

Buckingham Palace stated that His Majesty is extremely proud of Catherine for her bravery in speaking out. King Charles and Queen Camilla, who were informed about the princess’s health prior to Friday’s announcement, pledged to continue providing love and support to the entire family during this challenging period.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent a message wishing Princess Catherine and her family health and healing, expressing hope that they can do so privately and peacefully.

James Middleton, Catherine’s brother, posted a supportive message for his sister on Instagram, writing, “We have climbed many mountains together over the years. As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”

While Kensington Palace has not disclosed the type of cancer Catherine has been diagnosed with, they are confident she will fully recover. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak praised Catherine’s tremendous bravery in the face of intense scrutiny on Friday, adding that she, like everyone else, deserves privacy to focus on her treatment and spend time with her family.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer expressed his thoughts for the Royal Family and was encouraged by the princess’s optimism and her message of faith and hope. He also mentioned the added stress of receiving her diagnosis amid rampant speculation.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, commended the princess for her compassion and service in discussing her diagnosis, and offered his prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

US President Joe Biden joined millions worldwide in praying for Catherine’s full recovery. French President Emmanuel Macron praised the princess’s strength and resilience, stating that they inspire us all.
