Julen Lopetegui, the former manager of Real Madrid and Wolves, is set to take charge at West Ham United!.
The 57-year-old coach has “agreed terms” with the club, paving the way for him to replace David Moyes as head coach next season.
Lopetegui has been out of work since leaving Wolves just before the start of the 2023/24 season, but he has continued to live in England, eager to return to Premier League management. His illustrious coaching career includes stints at Porto, Spain, Real Madrid, and Sevilla. Now, it seems he’s ready to lead the Hammers to new heights!
In an interview with Sky Sports, Lopetegui expressed his excitement about the Premier League: “The way the country lives football here is special—it’s the best league in the world, the most competitive league in the world, the best environment for the players, coaches, and fans too.”
