A video has surfaced, amidst ongoing legal troubles, showing Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend and former signee, Cassie. The incident reportedly took place in a Los Angeles hotel corridor in 2016.
The video, obtained by CNN, appears to show Diddy repeatedly kicking and hurling objects at Cassie, who was his girlfriend at the time.
This video has come to light amidst a series of sexual assault allegations against Diddy. Cassie had previously filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Manhattan in November 2023. In the suit, she accused Diddy of forcing her into drug and alcohol consumption, coercing her into sexual encounters with male sex workers, and subjecting her to rape and physical abuse from 2005 to 2018.
However, the pair agreed to an out-of-court settlement the day after Cassie filed the explosive lawsuit, which included allegations of rape and physical abuse against the renowned rapper.
Despite Cassie retracting her allegations against Diddy, several other women and a former male producer have since filed lawsuits accusing the rapper of sexual assault.
In a related development, Diddy’s Los Angeles residence was searched by heavily armed agents from Homeland Security Investigations in March, in relation to allegations of his involvement in sex and human trafficking.
