Helicopter Crash Claims the Life of Iranian President Raisi

In a tragic turn of events, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, has lost his life in a helicopter crash at the age of 63. This unfortunate news has been confirmed by CNN, which based its report on information from Iranian news sources.

The report further revealed that the Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, was also among the casualties of the crash, which claimed a total of seven lives.

It was reported on Sunday that a helicopter, with Raisi on board, had a hard landing during a visit to a northern region. At that time, Raisi’s condition was not known.

This incident has occurred at a particularly tense time in the Middle East, with ongoing conflict in Gaza. Following the incident, the Iranian government held an emergency meeting on Monday, as reported by the Iranian state news agency, IRNA.
