Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has officially approved the appointment of Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Governor Makinde’s endorsement was formalized in a memo dated June 14, 2024. He exercised the powers vested in him by Section 19 (Cap 28) of the Oyo State Law of 2000, as amended.
In his congratulatory message, the governor expressed hope that Olakulehin’s tenure would usher in significant developments for Ibadan and the entire Oyo State community.
