Nigerians have voiced their concerns following the appearance of Seyi Tinubu, the first son of President Bola Tinubu, at the swearing-in ceremony of the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun. She now holds the position of the 23rd Chief Justice of Nigeria, pending Senate confirmation.
Justice Kekere-Ekun succeeded Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who retired on Thursday after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70. Ariwoola had served as CJN since June 27, 2022.
