Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current season of the Big Brother Naija reality show. The controversial artist believes that the show’s entertainment value has significantly declined compared to previous seasons.
Portable pointed out that this season’s housemates have not garnered the attention and excitement expected, despite the extensive promotion surrounding the show. Taking to his Instagram story, he stated,
“Big Brother [Naija] no sweet again like before. All these people [housemates] no blow, make then pay me 100m I go use cruise finish them.”
His comments reflect a sentiment among some viewers that the current lineup lacks the charisma and engagement that has characterized past seasons.
The ninth season of Big Brother Naija concluded recently, with housemate Kellyrae winning the coveted N100 million grand prize.
